Show your support for the arts!
We need your help now more than ever.
The Washington Post has called this "Worst case scenario for arts groups"...
Recent federal budget proposals have called for the elimination of the National Endowment for the Arts, the agency that funds both state and local arts organizations, educational projects, museums and similar cultural institutions.
While these cuts may seem far removed for our local arts community, they might have dire consequences. Federal funding would be removed from all state, county and city arts efforts. With this funding cut off, communities will rely on local, community based organizations like Bell Arts Factory. We need your your support to keep this community thriving!
Over thirty local artists have selected Bell Arts Factory as their creative home. We are able to keep their rents as low as possible because of your support. We are also known for our youth art classes, a program we offer the community free of charge. We open our doors to the public every First Friday, showcasing works from our tenants as well as other emerging artists.
The Janet Addison Community Room gives us space to provide a low-cost rehearsal space for the Harmony Project and cultural dance groups like Ballet Folkorico and Danza Azteca. We are also able to provide a meeting center for community groups like the Westside Community Council and the Westside Community Development Corporation.
We need your support. Your monthly contribution will allow Bell Arts Factory to continue its mission of providing space for artists, arts programs, and community events, even in these times of uncertainty.
This is not a request to help keep the lights on. We are asking you for $10 a month to keep the Ventura arts community thriving. Bell Arts Factory provides the space for this to happen.
